![]() | Prince William Baroque is an historically-oriented ensemble offering music of the baroque, galant and early classical periods. The ensemble was founded in 2004 as the Manassas Bach Orchestra by conductor and harpsichordist David Montgomery, who is also the Music Director of the Prince William Symphony Orchestra. In 2007 Prince William Baroque took its new name and signed on for its first season at the Manassas Museum. In addition to the performances, these concerts will feature talks about the music, the instruments, the composer and his times. The harpsichord for the Manassas Museum Series is kindly provided by its makers, Thomas and Barbara Wolf, of The Plains. |
